WEST SALEM, Wisconsin (WXOW) -- Few things say "America" quite as well as fast, loud V8s flying around an asphalt oval. It was fitting then that the La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway celebrated the 4th of July Wednesday night in style.
Frank Kreyer started the Tundra Super Late Model feature race in second, but soon took the lead. Not even the back of the pack could slow him down as he easily passed lap traffic over the 40 lap feature.
Kreyer would hold on to take the checkered flag. The Wisconsin Dells resident led home Eugene Gregorich, Jr. of Amherst and Lakeville's Nick Panitzke.
