MADISON (WKOW) -- Friday marks three years since Wisconsin implemented a statewide smoking ban in bars, restaurants and in the workplace.
Health First Wisconsin maintains that businesses continue to thrive. "According to the Wisconsin Restaurant Association and state tax data, bar an restaurant sales receipts increased from 2011 to 2012 by nearly 4 percent," a release from the organization says.
Some critics though banning smoking would drive customers away.
