LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) – Bond remains at $50,000 dollars for the woman charged with harboring a felon after a stabbing at a La Crosse Kwik Trip in June.
Police allege Brittany Jones drove to Madison with her boyfriend, Mitrel Anderson, after the stabbing.
Anderson is charged with first degree intentional homicide in the death of DeMario Lee.
Jones appeared in court Monday morning.
Her lawyer argued to reduce her bond to $1,000. He said Jones is not a risk to leave the jurisdiction.
The prosecution responded by listing Jones' past criminal record and her intent to stay with Anderson's sister, who is under supervision.
"What's more weighing in the court's mind is this history she's had up until this happened. She still managed to be involved with -- whether there be publicity or not -- be involved in some of the most criminal behavior you can do, which is participate," said Judge Elliot Levine.
Jones and Anderson will have separate trials.
