Minneapolis, MINNESOTA (WXOW) Larry Fitzgerald's summer camps are legendary in NFL circles.
The Twin Cities area native and Arizona Cardinals receiver has gathered some of the best receivers in the league at the University of Minnesota for some mid-summer training.
On Tuesday, Fitzgerald was guest host and participant for the camp.
One of the featured instructors is Cris Carter.
The former long time Vikings receiver will be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in less than a month and had time to offer some sage advice to the players at the camp.
"The key to reaching your potential is adding to things you've already done. Your potential as an athlete is not things that you've already done. Coaches teach that, about getting kids to reach their potential. For me, I've been taught that my potential is everything I haven't done. I'm trying to go beyond. If I had 1,400 yards I'm trying to go beyond that," Carter told reporters.
