Authorities say Janesville woman hung African American doll in effigy

JANESVILLE (WKOW) -- Janesville police officials say a Janesville woman hung an African American doll in effigy at her home, and has been arrested for a possible hate crime.

Authorities say 54-year old Deborah Boudreau hung a doll with a noose around its neck on the front porch of a home on South Academy Street.

Officials say Boudreau was arrested, on a tentative charge of disorderly conduct/crimes committed against certain people.
