Tennessee man seriously injured in Monroe Co. crash


Wyeville, WISCONSIN (WXOW)- One person is seriously injured in a two vehicle crash in the Village of Wyeville.

The crash happened shortly before two o'clock, Monday, on State Highway 21.

The Monroe County Sheriff's Department says 32-year-old Matthew McDonald, of Knoxville, Tennessee, crossed the center line as he was driving on the highway.

Officials say his vehicle struck the back of a semi tractor driven by 45-year-old Dean Jensen of Glencoe, Minnesota.

McDonald was seriously injured as a result of crash.  He was airlifted to La Crosse from Tomah Memorial Hospital.

The crash is under investigation.
