LA CROSSE, WI (WXOW)—The La Crosse Fire Department practiced ventilating houses on the south side on Tuesday.
Fire fighters broke windows gaining access to the house and cut holes in the roof for ventilation on the corner of Ninth and State Streets.
The Fire Department said three first year fire fighters were on the scene and hands on training like this is invaluable.
The houses are going to be torn down to make room for a privately owned five story student housing complex.
