All the Milwaukee Brewers know about Ryan Braun's situation is that he is suspended for the rest of the year and it is time for them to move on.
The reality of Braun's banishment began to set in on Tuesday when the Brewers were confronted with a slew of questions about the embattled slugger while he remained silent.
The 2011 NL MVP was suspended without pay on Monday for the rest of the season and the playoffs should the Brewers qualify. It was thought to be the start of sanctions involving players reportedly tied to a Florida clinic accused of distributing performance-enhancing drugs.
Brewers second baseman Rickie Weeks cautioned against assuming anything about the penalty. Weeks says, "We just know that he was suspended."
