La Crosse, WISCONSIN (WXOW) Thursday night's win got the Loggers off on the right foot in the season's home stretch
La Crosse showing off their ability to grind out a 4-3 extra innings win over Wisconsin Rapids.
Michael Katz was a big reason for the win.
Two big reasons in fact.
Katz homered twice to keep the Loggers in it and has blasted six long-balls in the last six games.
Despite the hot bat, however, Katz doesn't feel any extra pressure at the plate.
"Pretty much it's just when your turn's up, you just try to step up. We've got a good team that will pick each other up, like I said. One night it will be some guy. One night it will be the next, so no one really feels too much pressure to perform and be that guy, so I think that's a good team dynamic," Katz said.
The Loggers are in the middle of a stretch in which they play 7 games in a row at home.
