LA CROSSE, WI (WXOW)—A Lansing man accused of manufacturing meth inside a north La Crosse hotel room was charged on Tuesday.
27-year-old Brian Brainard is charged with manufacturing meth as a repeater.
Police said they received a tip on July 23 about a possible meth lab in one of the rooms at American's Best Value Inn on the corner of Rose and George Streets.
After entering the room, investigators say they found several items used in making met and waste from meth.
Brainard is in the La Crosse county jail on a $5,000 cash bond.
Laura Rud, of La Crosse, also faces charges in this case.
