La Crosse, WISCONSIN (WXOW) Here's something from the "Boy, time sure does fly" department.
Bobby Juan spent many a summer night watching the Loggers as a kid.
Now he spending his final week with the team he grew up cheering.
The La Crosse Central graduate is closing out his third and final season in the green pin-stripes.
He's certainly left his mark on the organization.
Juan was a fixture on the Loggers only Northwoods League title team last year.
This season he became the franchises' all-time hits leader along with providing some stellar relief out of the bullpen.
"It's been a great time winning the championship, meeting all my teammates and friends and just being able to play in front of the hometown has been really fun," Juan said.
"It's awesome knowing all the great players that have come through here and played here and to be named with them is a great honor."
"Most of these guys haven't played a 70 game schedule yet. So he knows the ups and downs. Players look at him as one of the leaders in the clubhouse. He's been a tremendous asset for us," said Loggers manager Jason Nell.
Juan still has another season to go at the University of Minnesota.
