MILWAUKEE (WXOW) -- Milwaukee Brewers' left fielder Ryan Braun may be ready to admit the use of performance-enhancing drugs during the 2011 season.
USA TODAY reports that people who are familiar with Braun's plans say he is going to talk about the reasons why he did it and publicly apologize for the lies. USA TODAY says Braun has not made the announcement, but the people close to Braun say he started sending apologies out to baseball officials.
It is not clear what specifics would be in Braun's statement.
People who know Braun say he wants to distance himself from Alex Rodriguez.
Braun is suspended for 65 games -- the rest of the regular season.
