Fans want to see, hear Braun's apology

OAK CREEK, Wis. (AP) - A written apology from Milwaukee Brewers slugger Ryan Braun isn't enough for some baseball fans.

They want to hear from Braun directly about his use of performance-enhancing drugs. Braun issued a carefully-worded admission of guilt Thursday and sent a separate letter of apology to fans who receive emails from the Brewers.

Larry Acker is among fans at a high school football game in Oak Creek who want Braun to step out of the shadows and talk publicly about his cheating.

Megan Bartles tells WISN-TV Ryan got plenty of "face time" for his explosive performances that resulted in an MVP award, so now he should get the same and apologize in person.

Nina Lampone too, says she wants to hear an admission of guilt directly from Braun, who has been suspended from Major League Baseball for 65 games.
