WINONA, Minn. (AP) - A 43-year-old Hokah woman is charged with sexual conduct involving a 13-year-old boy.
Prosecutors charged Pamela Ann Fahy on Tuesday with third-degree criminal sexual conduct.
The Winona Daily News reports Fahy also resigned
Tuesday from the La Crescent-Hokah School District, where she worked as a
paraprofessional for nearly six years. Two children were removed from
her foster home.
School Superintendent Ron Wilke confirmed Fahy's resignation.
Fahy worked with special-needs students in
preschool and elementary school grades. Wilke says there have been no
reports of any wrongdoing with children she worked with.
Fahy also is a licensed child foster care provider
in Minnesota. The Minnesota Department of Human Services says Fahy has
had no prior complaints against her.
A message left on Fahy's home phone was not immediately returned Tuesday night.
