Tiny baby in Milwaukee beats all odds and finally goes home

MILWAUKEE (WKOW) – A tiny baby in Milwaukee is beating all odds and is finally going home for the first time since she was born in May.

When baby Phoenix was born at only 24 weeks, she was about the size of a soda can.  Doctors at St. Joseph's in Milwaukee say the baby is the smallest born at the hospital to survive.

Now three months later, Phoenix is topping the scale at five pounds and is finally going home for good with mom and dad.

Doctors say Phoenix doesn't have any brain, eye or ear issues which is excellent for her long-term health.
