Badgers believe they've benefited from two tune-ups

MADISON (WKOW) -- Going into week three of the regular season, the Badger football team has improved it's record (2-0) and it's ranking (#18 in Coaches Poll, #20 in AP poll). The question is, did Wisconsin's first two games prepare the team for a road game against Arizona State?
Wisconsin is the only team in the country still yet to allow a point through two games, winning by a combined score of 93-to-nothing.
Last Saturday, Tennessee Tech only crossed the 50 yard line one time, as Wisconsin's faced little to no adversity through a couple contests.
Wisconsin head coach Gary Andersen believes there's been some benefit to a couple tune-ups.
"We're playing a lot of young kids who have gotten into the moment and have not panicked in the moment which is great to see, so it's prepared us," Andersen said.
"That's the point of the season it is. It's time to move on, and we go to play the next team on our schedule and we're excited about the opportunity so I believe we'll be prepared."
