Town of Lincoln, WISCONSIN (WXOW) - Monroe County Officials are looking for a suspect involved in a reported hit and run and attempted kidnapping.
Officials said on Monday morning around 6:00 a.m., two vehicles collided on County Highway O, in the Township of Lincoln.
After the collision happened, the male suspect, who was involved in the crash, attempted to force the female driver of the other vehicle into his car.
Officials said the female was able to escape and wave down a passerby for help.
Tomah Police said the suspects' car is similar to the description of a vehicle that was reported stolen and was recovered shortly after the crash Monday.
However, officers are still looking for the man. He is described as white, possibly 18 to 25, with short spiky hair. He was last seen wearing a white zip up type, hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and boots.
Tomah Police said there may have been another incident involving this man that occurred around 4:30 Monday morning in Tomah. Police said a female reported that someone pulled in behind her at her home and wanted directions. The female told officers she was afraid of the man and walked into her home. The male made a sexual comment and left.
Anyone with information on these incidents is asked to contact the Monroe County Sheriff's Department at 608-269-2117 or the Tomah Police Department at 608-374-7400.
