ONALASKA, Wisconsin – Volunteers from 30 Mile Mission teamed up with Habitat for Humanity and Thrivent Financial Saturday to repair an Onalaska home.
Volunteers have been working on the home since last week, restoring the siding and gutters, and getting rid of rot.
Saturday the 30 Mile Mission, a ministry of the First Free Church in Onalaska, painted the exterior of the house.
The mission hopes their work gives the homeowner more pride in her home.
"It's one of those things, you're out here doing work for other people but you realize it's as much for you as (it is for) them 'cause you get a good feeling when you leave and you know that you helped somebody out," said Josh Hoffman, a volunteer from 30 Mile Mission.
Since April, Habitat said they've helped four houses with critical home repairs.
