LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW)-- Governor Scott Walker made a stop in La Crosse Monday morning to talk about workforce development and bringing jobs to Wisconsin.
The governor spoke at First Supply, a manufacturing company in La Crosse. The Wisconsin based company added 50 jobs this year.
Gov. Walker says increasing the number of skilled workers in the state will be on his agenda this fall and he hopes this legislative session will include more bipartisanship.
"Our package will include bills proposed both by Republicans and Democrats, as well as bills that we think, just in general, both parties can agree on. most of these things, people hear from employers around the state, what they're hearing about are technical changes that would be helpful but they're not huge partisan divides," Gov. Walker said.
