Fund established to assist fire victims

Posted:

LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) - You can help the victims of the fire that destroyed an apartment building on Wall Street in north La Crosse and left a number of people homeless.

For those who lived there, the September 13 fire took everything they owned. None had insurance to cover their losses.

A fund to support the victims was established at Merchants Bank.  Anyone wanting to contribute can go to any Merchants location and make a donation to "Victims of the Wall Street Fire".
