WSU's May earns NSIC Player of the Week honor

Winona, MINNESOTA  After averaging 22 yards on five punt returns Saturday against MSU Moorhead, Alan May earned the NSIC's Special Teams Player of the Week Award, the conference announced Monday.
May totaled 110 yards on five punt returns in WSU's 65-21 victory, breaking off returns of 47 and 34 yards on the afternoon.
The sophomore had a strong all-around game, totaling 196 total yards. May posted a team-high five catches for 86 yards and a touchdown as the Warrior offense rolled to 639 total yards.
Winona State will return to action on Saturday when it travels to Minot State for a 1:30 pm kickoff.
