UW vs. OSU usually provides high drama

Posted:

Madison, WISCONSIN (WKOW)  There's plenty of reason to believe that Wisconsin's game this weekend at Ohio State is the most important of the Badgers season.

The winner will be the favorite to represent the leaders division in the Big Ten title game.

More often than not this game has gone right down to the wire.

And it seems to be one of the premiere match ups of the Big Ten season.

Ohio State enters this one with the nation's longest winning streak at 16 games.

But Badgers head coach Gary Andersen doesn't want his team to get caught in the hoopla.

"This game probably will not, it will be just one game in the conference race. You can't look at one game in the conference and say this is the conference championship when they're all going to be contested," Andersen said.

"I think guys are very excited. They're a big time team. One of the top teams in the nation. It really doesn't change anything. We prepare each week as hard as we can so there's nothing you can do. But yeah, guys will be excited," said linebacker Chris Borland.

Saturday's kickoff is set for 7pm.

The pregame show starts at 6:30 and you can see it all on WXOW 19.
