Pierce, Nebraska (WXOW) – The big Lambrecht Chevy auto auction is this week in Pierce, Nebraska. The auction consists of an incredible collection of extremely low-mileage classic cars. The cars and trucks have been tucked away in the Lambrecht dealership that closed several years ago. All the cars are from 1958 to 1980 and they will be sold.
Online bidding has already started for many of the 500 cars in the Chevy collection. Onsite bidding begins Saturday, Sept. 28, at 9:30 a.m. Posters, tires, signs, and Lambrecht Chevrolet memorabilia will be some of the first things on the auction block. Including a Chevy Pedal Car called the "kiddie Corvette."
The first vehicle that is up for auction is this 1958 Chevy Cameo Pickup truck with one mile on it. Followed by the '1978 Indy Pace car which has traveled only four miles and still has the plastic on the seats. Also in the auction lineup, two brand new Chevy Impalas. One is a 1963 with 11 miles, the other a 1964 with just 4 miles.
The auction runs until Sunday, Sept. 29, where 340 more vehicles will be sold. A lot of the Sunday vehicles are Fords, Pontiacs and some Studebakers.
