West Salem students conduct Oktoberfest market research

LA CROSSE, WI (WXOW) - Students from West Salem High School spent Saturday morning on the parade but they weren't marching they were conducting market research.

The Board of Oktoberfest asked them to conduct surveys and ask parade-goers about Oktoberfest.

Questions about the fest changing to four days and if they think the button price is too high and what events they wish to see in the future.

Kyrsten Stockus is a Sophomore at West Salem she says "it's a little bit overwhelming sometimes to think how big of a project this is. It is pretty amazing and I know were going to get a lot of information, it will be a pretty good survey."

The students are a part of DECA which is a competitive marketing association.

They hope to present their findings to the Board of Oktoberfest within a month.
