Posted:

LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) – Craig's Towing and Auto Repair in La Crosse confirmed they towed three cars Saturday night and early Sunday morning that were flipped over.

Police would only confirm one of the incidents that happened near 10th and Main Street.

They are not releasing more information at this time.

News 19 knows police arrived at the scene sometime around 11 p.m. Saturday night.

The owner of the car, who does not wish to be named, is a UW-La Crosse alum in town for Oktoberfest.

He said he came back to his friend's house to find his car turned over and the windows shattered.

"I came to college here. I loved La Crosse. I never thought something like this would happen to me. I mean, as (far) as the evil in everybody, you see it. But it happened," said the car owner.

He said the damage is being assessed, but he believes the car is totaled.
