LA CRESCENT, Minnesota (WXOW) -- Roughly 30 households were without phone service for much of the day Monday, after a truck snagged on a phone line above Elm St.
Workers from ACE Communications working to repair the line said accounts of when the accident happened varied -- with some of those affected saying it happened around 2 p.m. while others believed the truck hit the line as late as 3:30 p.m.
The section of Elm St. near N. First St. had to be shut down for roughly an hour Monday as crews worked to install a new line.
