La Crosse, WISCONSIN (WXOW) –Once again the Salvation Army is teaming up with Kwik Trip to keep kids warm this winter. It's part of the annual Coats for Kids project.
Starting Monday, Oct. 7, people can donate boots, hats, mittens, gloves and coats of all sizes. The items can be dropped off at area Kwik Trips, at the Salvation Army administrative offices or at the Living Word Bookstore. The items can be new or gently used.
Last year the Salvation Army distributed 2,500 coats and 5,767 pieces of winter apparel.
