UW-L ready to move on after embarrassing loss

La Crosse, WISCONSIN (WXOW)  The Eagles are coming off their worst loss ever in their series with UW-Whitewater.

And afterwards, their head coach let them know about it, delivering a verbal kick in the rear.

That's the background as UW-L prepares for another ranked team, UW-Oshkosh, this Saturday.

Head Coach Joel Dettwiler called out his team for not finishing the game properly.

It dropped the Eagles record to 0-4 and put the team on high alert.

"The only thing to get us out of the hole is to change our attitude, to get better and to go work as a group. I think that's the thing we've done this week. It's been refreshing and fun. We're all excited to work together. That's something we're super excited about," Dettwiler said.

The 0-4 Eagles kickoff against the 4-0 Titans at 1:30 in Oshkosh.
