LA CROSSE, WI (WXOW)—The Parenting Place helped families in our area prepare for Halloween Saturday morning with their costume boutique.
Those who brought in a costume earlier this week were able to come back Saturday and pick out a new one.
Kids could also decorate Halloween cupcakes and play with bubbles all in an effort to bring families together.
"A lot of them are people who work outside the home and so they're not with their children during the day," Fran Swift, Parent Educator said. "They don't get to see them do some of the activities too that maybe they're doing in daycare or something so they really get to see with children in a different way.
All of the costumes that did not go to a new home today will be kept for next year's costume boutique.
