La Crosse, WISCONSIN (WXOW) – A record breaking year for the "Glow in the Deke" run.
Event Organizer Garrett Jerue said they have raised about $40,000. That's a huge increase from last year where they raised only $16,000. All the money will go to the Boys and Girls Club of La Crosse.
The run is in memory of Derrick ‘Deke' Kroll. He passed away from a rare form of cancer in 2009.
News 19 is a proud sponsor of the event.
