Seasonal Flu Vaccine Now Available

LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) – It's flu season and that means it's time to get a flu vaccine.  The staff at News 19 got their flu shots on Thursday from Cass Street Pharmacy.

Health Experts says getting the flu shot is the best way to protect against the flu since the viruses are always changing.  The vaccine protects against three or four different influenza viruses but takes about two weeks to take affect following the shot.
