ONALASKA, Wisconsin (WXOW)-- There is a benefit this weekend for a Holmen elementary teacher who is battling cancer.
Jenny Olson was diagnosed with synovial sarcoma in August of 2012.
This form of cancer is very rare and for Jenny, it is located in her neck, lungs, and lymph nodes.
Jenny and Brian Olson are the proud parents of two children, Ben and Elise.
One of Jenny's wishes is to take the entire family to Disney Word.
Friends of Jenny's are hosting a chicken cue fundraiser for the family on Sunday, Oct. 20 at Gander Mountain in Onalaska from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Organizers want to help the family with funds for their trip and some money will benefit local cancer research.
Jenny has had a positive impact on hundreds of students and the community would like to say thank you and help her beat cancer.
