LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) - The city of La Crosse Arts Board is preparing for a new mural after getting a $25,000 national grant.
The grant will bring artist John Pugh to La Crosse this week to begin the process of creating a large-scale mural in the city.
Pugh has a unique 3D style of work and will meet with representatives from the Pump House Arts Center, La Crosse County, Downtown Mainstreet and the La Crosse school district.
Monday from 7:30 to 8:30pm Pugh will be at the Southside Neighborhood Center.
On Wednesday Pugh will be at the Pump House from noon to 1:30 pm and the Weber Center from 7 to 8:30 pm.
The public is welcome to attend.
