Badgers #24 In Latest BCS Standings

Madison (WXOW) -- The Wisconsin football team did not play on Saturday, but that didn't stop them from entering the latest BCS Standings.

The Badgers return to the field this Saturday against Iowa. No doubt, the team will be looking for more out of quarterback Joel Stave. The sophomore ranks second among conference quarterbacks in touchdowns, but has struggled with consistency. In his last outing, coach Gary Andersen says Stave missed badly on a number of throws.

"There are those glaring throws," says Andersen. "Trust me, the first guy that wants those back is Joel, and the second guy that wants those back is Coach (Andy) Ludwig. They talked about some different things and some possible adjustments that can help him as the game goes on to keep him in the moment. But I think Joel's progressed every week."

"I think I've learned and tried to learn from my mistakes every week. There's always going to be things you want to correct but I think I've done a good job trying to learn from what I have messed up on," adds Stave.

You can watch the Wisconsin-Iowa game on WXOW on Saturday at 11:00 a.m.
