LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) Four people are arrested following a string of burglaries in La Crosse.

La Crosse Police said they responded to the area of 2200 Hoeschler Drive around 8 p.m., Monday, Oct. 28, for a report of three suspicious people in the area.  When officers arrived they found three teens who matched the description of the subjects.

Upon further investigation, Police learned the three men had committed at least two burglaries to garages and attempted to enter 20 vehicles in the area.  Fue Vue, 17, Vue Yang, 17, and John Vang,17, were arrested.  Police said Fue Vue had a Ruger 357 handgun in his front sweatshirt pocket along with ammunition, a screw driver, flashlight, a glove and a large amount of change in his pocket.  Officers discovered the handgun had been stolen from a vehicle that was parked in a locked garage.

Police said a follow up has tied these suspects to at least eight business burglaries and several other burglaries and thefts in the area over the last several weeks.  Police have also arrest a fourth suspect Lee Yang, 20, in connection with the crimes.

Police said his investigation all started when a citizen contacted police to report suspicious activity by these suspects.  Reminder; If you may have been a victim of these crimes, contact the La Crosse Police Department to file a report and remember to lock your vehicles, garages and secure your property to help prevent these crimes from occurring in the future.
