Green Bay Packers running back Eddie Lacy was named NFL offensive rookie of the month for October, the NFL said Thursday.
Lacy led the NFL in rushing in October with 395 yards on a league-high 97 carries.
The running back rushed for at least 80 yards in all four games, the first Packers rookie to do so.
He had a career-high 120 rushing yards one week and finished the month with three consecutive games with at least 100 yards.
He joins Samkon Gado as the only Packers named NFL rookie of the month.
Arizona Cardinals safety Tyrann Mathieu was named defensive rookie of the month.
