North Crawford Vball ready for big stage

Soldiers Grove, WISCONSIN (WXOW)  North Crawford is ready to put it's talents on display at the WIAA State Volleyball Tournament this Friday.

The Trojans will take on Clayton in a division 4 semifinal in Green Bay.

North Crawford will be making their 4th trip to state, but their first since 1996.

There are many story lines to this team.

Two pairs of sisters have formed the backbone to this sqaud and a first year head coach has had to get to know them on fly.

The results turned into what they had hoped.

"I think it really helped that we've been playing together since elementary school. We've been best friends forever. We have two sets of sisters on the team. We're really close and it just really helps with the attitude on the court when we play," said senior Aubrey Stevenson

"We have such a special team. We're sisters, we have two other sisters on the team. We're all just best friends and we've been working so hard for this," said senior Mackenzie Swiggum.

"With the talented girls on the team we were definitely hoping to get to state. First year head coach, we were trying to figure out some things. We're all clicking now so every thing is perfect," said head coach Anna Davidson.

The Trojans are 28-4 overall and have won 10 straight.

They're division 4 semifinal starts at 10am at the Resch Center.
