La Crosse, WISCONSIN (WXOW) Basketballs are bouncing once again in gyms throughout Wisconsin.
The first day of practice is here for boys prep teams.
That includes at Aquinas, where the defending division three state champs began their work in defense of their title.
For the first time in 4 years there's no Bronson Koenig, who as you know is now a Wisconsin Badger.
So the make-up of this year's squad will be considerably different.
"Well every year you know you start out with new faces and every team is different. My job as a coach is to give every kid and every team the best opportunity to be successful and that's what we're going to start looking at right now," said head coach Rick Schneider.
"We were a pretty deep team, last year even. I think we'll do just fine filling in those spots. I mean obviously we don't have another person going to the Badgers or anything like that, but we got some good guys so I think we'll be just fine," said senior Reggie Rabb.
Also, senior center Parker Weber tells News 19 that will sign a letter of intent to play at Minnestoa State-Moorhead.
