Sebelius to discuss health care law in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE (AP) - Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius is scheduled to be in Milwaukee this week, where she'll visit a clinic and talk about the online federal exchanges.

The agency says Sebelius will meet Friday afternoon with local consumers planning to enroll in Wisconsin's health insurance exchange. She'll also highlight ways that Wisconsin residents can learn about the online marketplace.

Her visit comes the same week the federal government announced disappointing enrollment numbers in the month since the problem-plagued website was launched. Even though 700,000 Wisconsin residents were expected to shop for coverage through the exchange, only 877 managed to get all the way through and select a plan as of Nov. 2.

Sebelius is scheduled to visit the Progressive Community Health Centers clinic at 1 p.m.
