Madison (WXOW) -- The Wisconsin football team continues to pick up lopsided wins. This week, the BCS computers take notice, moving the Badgers up three spots to #19.
Wisconsin blasted Indiana on Saturday, winning 51-3 at Camp Randall Stadium. That helped the team move up to 5th in the country in scoring defense. The Badgers only allowed 224 yards of total offense and the secondary held the Big Ten's best passing offense in check.
"They just matched up and played at a high level," says head coach Gary Andersen. "I was very impressed with Darius (Hillary) and Sojourn (Shelton). Dez (Southward) was in a lot of man coverages again today and did a nice job."
"It's a privilege to be out there and I'm happy. I think I've worked hard for it and have learned so much from the seniors, Dez, Borland, all those guys. I'm extremely happy for them and I don't think this would have happened without those bunch of guys," says Shelton.
