UW-La Crosse to host free speech forum Wednesday night

LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) -- The UW-La Crosse department of political science is hosting a public forum Wednesday evening on the topic of free speech and expression.

The forum will be held at the Cartwright Center's Ward Room at 7 p.m.

It's free and open to the public.

Panelists for the forum will be State Assembly Rep. Steve Doyle (D-Onalaska), former La Crosse County GOP chair Julian Bradley and UW-La Crosse Chancellor Joe Gow.

UWL political science lecturer Sam Scinta, who will moderate the forum, said he hopes it will promote a good and thought-provoking discussion on the topic of free speech.
