SUN PRAIRIE (WKOW) – The man charged in the death of a Sun Prairie boy will be in court on Thursday for a preliminary hearing.
Dakota Black faces a first-degree reckless homicide charge after the death of 5-year-old Brayden Turnbill.
Authorities say the child died of blunt force trauma to the head after he was found bruised and not breathing in his Sun Prairie home last month.
Black, the boyfriend of the boy's mother, says he did not shake or hurt Brayden but he admits that he was the only adult home with him that afternoon.
Black told investigators that he is responsible for whatever happened on his watch.
