Once you get that deer, you need to register it


LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) -  With a little skill and luck, you might be one of the many hunters in Wisconsin to successfully get a deer this season.

As always, the DNR requires hunters to register their kills in the unit or in an adjoining unit where it was harvested.

In La Crosse County, there are nine locations where hunters can register their deer:
