La Crosse man facing 30 years in prison for drug dealing

La Crosse, Wisconsin (WXOW) ---- A La Crosse man pleads guilty to distributing cocaine and heroin.

Eugene Shields, 33, La Crosse admitted to distributing drugs in the La Crosse area in April 2013.
 
Shields was indicted by a Federal Grand Jury on April 24, 2013, on three counts of distributing heroin and cocaine, and one count of possessing cocaine, heroin and crack cocaine with intent to distribute.

According to the FBI, it is the fourth drug conviction for Shields since 1999.  He's had prior convictions in Tennessee, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.

Shields faces a maximum penalty of 30 years in federal prison.
