No one is injured in apartment fire

La Crosse, WISCONSIN (WXOW) – No one is injured in an apartment fire in La Crosse.

It happened around 12:30 p.m. at 1207 Market Street.

The La Crosse Fire Department said when they arrived at the apartment, they found smoke coming from an exterior wall. Firefighters used a chainsaw and axes to open up the wall and extinguish the fire.

Only minor damage was reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Tri-State Ambulance assisted with warming the residents as the fire was put out.
