Houston, Minnesota (WXOW)-- Jason Barker, former teacher at La Crescent Montessori Academy, facing sexual misconduct charges involving students, entered not guilty pleas this morning.
Barker was arrested in January, he taught special education at the time of the alleged incidents.
According to the criminal complaint, a student under the age of 13 told another teacher that 38-year-old Barker had touched her inappropriately more than five times. Another student told police a similar story.
Barker pleaded not guilty to criminal sexual conduct in 2nd degree and not guilty to criminal sexual conduct-5th degree. A settlement conference is set for March 3 at 1:30
