LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW)-- Middle school musicians are spreading holiday cheer. The Lincoln Middle School Holiday Brass Ensemble toured the La Crosse area sharing their musical talents with area residents.
The 7th and 8th graders played for crowds of all ages, from elementary schoolers to those in assisted living.
The mini-tour is a way for the students to give back during the holiday season.
"My favorite song is probably First Christmas Overture," said Will Hoeth, a 7th grade french horn player. "It's just fun, a lot of fast notes and low notes in it."
Tuesday's stops included Hamilton Elementary, Emerson and Hillview Terrace Assisted Living.
