Vernon County asking for help in burglary suspect search


Viroqua, WISCONSIN (WXOW) – Vernon County authorities are asking for the public's help following a rash of burglaries in the county.

Officers said on Dec. 6, places in the Villages of Ontario, LaFarge, Viola and Readstown were burglarized.

On Dec. 2, a burglary occurred at the Village of Coon Valley library.

Authorities said cash was taken from all the locations.

Anyone with information is asked to call Vernon County Crime Stoppers 608-637-8477. Tipsters may be eligible for cash rewards of up to $1,000 and will remain anonymous.
