LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) -- The UW-La Crosse Department of Exercise and Sport Science is celebrating 100 years in operation this year.
As part of those celebrations, the department will be hosting a free presentation Wednesday evening at the Cartwright Center's Valhalla hall.
The presentation, featuring speakers from the department's Adapted Physical Education and Clinical Exercise Physiology (Cardiac Rehab) programs, is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. following a social hour at 6:00 p.m.
Professors and former directors of the two programs will speak both about the ESS department's history and why the UWL's APE and CEP programs have long been considered among the best in the country.
