La Crosse, WISCONSIN (WXOW) - City of La Crosse employees are once again showing the true spirit of the holiday season.
Thursday morning, school district and city employees boxed up dozens of gifts to be donated to families in need in the La Crosse area.
This is the fifth year in a row the City of La Crosse has reached out to the School District of La Crosse to see if they could help fulfill the holiday wishes of district families.
"This shows we have a great community with a spirit of giving and serving others," shares Mayor Tim Kabat. "I am lucky to be the Mayor of such a great group of people."
In addition to the gift donations, the La Crosse Firefighters IAFF Local 127 union made a cash donation to the project.
